About Van Nuys
Van Nuys is one of several communities that comprise what locals endearingly refer to as "The Valley." This suburban region of Los Angeles has been closely linked with ’80s pop culture and was once dominated by shopping malls, auto dealerships, drive-ins, and record stores.
Van Nuys is now a hub for commuters and home to several hidden gems including one of the top public Japanese gardens in North America as well as the Lake Balboa/Anthony C. Beilenson Park, which offers various diversions including a 27-acre lake with waterfalls and walking path. The Van Nuys FlyAway Bus service transports passengers non-stop to and from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
