About Carpinteria

The Carpinteria train station is located downtown, just blocks from shops, restaurants, the beach, and the award-winning Island Brewing Company. A few miles southeast is one of the nation’s top surfing spots, Rincon Point State Beach. 

Walk along bluffs high above the ocean on the Coastal Vista Trail, stopping to watch seals playing in the water and sunbathing on the shoreline at the rookery. Carpinteria is also home to the annual California Avocado Festival in October.
